Learning to play the SoundStone is a process of various levels and phases. The first course, the basis, is an introduction to the SoundStone and playing it. It lasts one day, 2 x 3 hours with a 2 hour break after the morning session.

In this course you will be introduced to the SoundStone itself, have a SoundStone to use individually or with a partner, and will be shown how to play the stone correctly.

During the day you will be introduced to five different SoundStones and expericence the phenomenon stone from the completely different perspective of sound. You will experience the differing sounds from various SoundStones types and hear about their histories. In our studio, you have an overview of the stones and learn about their development from a silent state to their sounding state.

Each participant will receive individual instruction in techniques of playing the SoundStone and ways of producing sounds. Afterwards, you decide if you would like to work more with the sounds of stone and join us in our system of workshops.
